Is it possible that you have been eating a lot of simple carbohydrates? Such as cookies, cakes, pizza, sweets, sodas etc..
If so, and you are not gaining weight and still feel hungry it may be because your metabolism needs more protein. One of the hormones that control our appetite is glucagon, which is better produced when the meal has more protein than carbohydrates. We all need protein to replace the cells that keep dying every 3 weeks or so, and also to produce enzymes (they are fundamental in the reactions that produce energy in the body and very needed.).
If you have not been eating at least 90 g of protein a day, it is possible that the hunger is a message from your body to get your nutrition in shape!

If your hungry, your body is telling you to eat more. Hunger isn't always consistant all the time. It changes according to what the body needs. I remember when I started do a job that required manual labour, I couldn't figure why I was hungry all the time, and my Mom was pissed off because I was eating so much. Turns out that I need all that need just to keep my energy up. I lost 2 lbs, but an entire dress size BTW because I built so much muscle

Because you are still in process of growing up. When I was that age, I was skinny and didn't do any exercise...ate so much that you can't imagine from a tiny & thin girl like me. I didn't gain a pound till I hit 22 even I kept up with all these eating with no exercise.
Teens like you takes lots of energy even you don't notice it, that's why teens sleeps and eats so much around that age. I slept like 14 hours all the time...ah I miss that age!

It's an age where you can just consume and not gain weight. For two reasons 1st your growing 2nd your burning a lot of energy. Put the two reasons together your need more food to burn more energy. Don't worry when you get a little older you won't eat as much, it's just a faze that'll pass every one goes through it.

I often feel kind of hungry between meals, so I try to keep my brain occupied... I read alot & do sudoku puzzles to fight the boredom, which can lead to thinking that you are hungry.
