You camera should have come with some software and a cable. Install the software, link the camera to the computer, and follow the instructions.

With some cameras, you can also simply link them to the computer via USB and then access them with the Windows Explorer, almost like a USB stick.

You need to install the driver disk or HOPE your computer will see the camera when you connect it in MY COMPUTER as a REMOVABLE DRIVE.

You can go to the manufacturers site and download a driver for most cameras.

Short of that if it's on a card you can buy a card reader for $20-$30 or go to Wal Mart and put the card into their Kiosks

Your camera should have came with a user manual, read it.
