whats the point of going on the treadmill? i go on my treadmill sometimes. however, i really want a flat/thin stomach. by going on the treadmill, will u achieve a flat tummy? i usually do about 1/2 hr. not everyday, but approx. every other day or 4x a week. i like to play with the incline and i power walk/run.

If you want a flat tummy, do crunches... I think treadmills are mostly for cardio workouts and burning calories.

in order to be thin, u need to do a lot of cardio combined with a lowcal lowfat diet. so yeah, the treadmill will help because it burns calories. also, do some ab exercises (crunches) because u need to build some muscle, or no matter how skinny u are u'll look funny with out muscle.

The treadmill is a great tool to use for burning fat. But it can get boring. You can do total body circuit training. You could jump rope, do a set of pullups, bench presses, squats and then rest and repeat the circuit. Mix up your training to burn more fat and so you wont get bored.

You MAKE the "point"- by using it to exercise or help in losing weight. And there's nothing wrong with using it for fun- either. It sure beats parking oneself in front of the TV & gaining weight between commercials...

any excersize is a great way to burn extra calories and rid urself of fat

the point is proper intake of food..if you eat low or no carbs you will see instant results...guaranteed
