Yep. Great Grandfather WW2, Grandfather Korea, Uncle in Vietnam, Uncle in the first Gulf War and a cousin in Iraq home now though thankfully.

How distant? My father was too young for World War II and missed Korea, but did his two years.
Ancestors fought in the Revolutionary and Civil War (different branches on different sides of the latter) and I have a lot of non-nuclear family members that have fought in various wars.

Grandfather was a Calvalryman in WWl, father was a nose gunner/bombadier in B-24's on 50 missions, uncle was a Capt. in the Rangers in WWll, I was a paratroop officer in Vietnam for two tours.

There are two branches of my family, both in the US & UK and it is family tradition for some one to be in the military on both sides of the Atlantic.
It goes back so many generations I have no idea of how many wars they would have been invoved over the centuries
