Is it possible to convert an MPEG-4 video into a wmv video on Windows XP?
I have a video which i captured on my mobile phone which is MPEG-4 and i want to convert it into a wmv file so it will work on Windows Movie Maker. is this possible?

Of course! there this really good converter named SUPER. its free also. it almost converts everything to anything. its a little hard to use in the beginning but one you get used to it, its easy. just be sure to remember where you install it cause the output folder in there. meaning that all the files that you converted will end up in there. Not your desktop. you can change that if you want also.

don't need to download anything. open up windows movie maker. import your video the put the clips on the slideshow all at once by highlighting them all and draging it there.when your done save it to a folder and it will become a WMV file. works with any files

I'm sure it can. Just search for MPEG-4 to WMV. You should get tons of websites you can check out with free software. Hope this helps.
