Also yes. All the Armenians I have known are fine people, and they have a great ancient tradition -- being probably the oldest traceable Christians on the planet -- but the alphabet alone is a real problem for me, and all I know about it is that it is Southern Indo-European, like Farsi or maybe Hindi. I am not sure that at my age I any longer have the energy to actually learn another strange language, but I would love to learn the characters, the basic structure and a few phrases. The problem I see is that I don't know how to make my keyboard answer back in the same characters.

I am not interested in learning Armenian because I don't know anyone that speaks that language.

do you mean know an armenian person? No thanks, I had an armenian ex girlfriend, she was crazy!
But the language, yeah, why not!
