run! do a lot of running. i've been running for about 3 years and it made me feel so much better and it toned me up. i usually run at my school track, the park, my neighborhood, or sometimes on my treadmill. i also have an ab lounge that i use about 4 times a week and that really does help me. obviously eating 6 small healthy meals a day is good. no snacks or fast food! getting involved in a sport is always good. you could even get a membership to the gym or a local rec center so you can have some fun while you're at it. back to exercising, i run 5 days a week any where from 30 minutes to 1 and 1/2 hours, depending on what i ate and what other activity i did that day. sometimes i even break it up into 2 30 min jogs. i do pilates video 4 days a week and that's 25 mins long. you dont actually have to "diet, i dont like calling it that because i seems weird, just eat healthy lol. slow down on the carbs, eat plenty of fiber, depending on your age eat the right amount of calories (that can easily be googled). no white bread (try whole grain), lots of fruits and veggies to fill up on and snack on, they're good and healthy and will hold you over until your next small meal. hope i helped you and good luck with losing weight by may. i believe losing 20 pounds is reasonable by then.

Okay, well, I jsut want to tell you that you cn't lose weight specific to one area. Body fat increases and decreases all over. Women get most of it in their hips and men in their stomach. My advise to you is to do a cardio exercise, like running for more than ten minutes each day, because you only begin to burn fat during a long cardio exercise. 3 times a week at least. Also, building muscle helps burn calories because it boosts your metabolism. Eat things like apples, because they contain less calories than it takes your body to break them down. A list of other foods like this can be seen below in my source list.

To build muscle, the running/cardio can help, but try lifting weights or even just push-ups and sit ups. Start off snmall and keep getting larger in the time you spend doing it and the intensity as you get more comfortable. Don't start off to hard because you will pay for it and it will hurt.

Change your diet, but not extremely. Try less sugar and when you eat a lot of carbs exercise the next day because carbs are stored energy, so you will burn them off if you exercise within a day or two depening on your metabolism.

I hope this helps and good luck!

Well most people are over weight and there are many solutions. I say go on a diet. NOT those i wont eat anyting and work out 24/7 diets. I mean work out sensibly at a pace that wont over work you. Also eat vegies and fruit. Not things with high fat. Check whats in the food. Remember you should eat not that many amounts of food. Also try to fight the power and not want to eat all those junky stuff =)

stop eating carbs.
a lot of people are allergic to bread and don't even know it and that's why they can't lose weight.
My boyfriend and I are going to be excercising from 7-9am everyday starting march 1st and we're hoping that does a lot! We may even do more after work for an hour or so.
See the thing is if you excercise enough it'll help your metabalism for 24 hours. meaning you can eat whatever you want within reason and not gain.
as for your stomach have you thought about those things you wrap around your body and then pulse and make you lose weight? my mom has one and I believe they did help her lose 60lbs.
My aunt power walks with a bit of clothes on with this thing she puts around her stomach a sauna thing so that you sweat a lot and that helps an extreme amount.
Try to drink only water.
I hope this helps and best of luck!
also know that from 108-140 is the average weight and the healthy weight for anyone 5'2-5'6 I believe.

It depends on your calorie expendature, height and age. Cutting junk food wont help if you are making up for it in carbs. Just make sure to cut your calories by 3,500 calories a week if you wanna lose 1 lb a week since 3,500 calories=1 lb. For example if your body burns 2,200 calories a day, only eat 1,700 calories a day and work out, then you will be losing more than a lb a week.

First of all, are you really commited to losing weight? Thats the first step. If u are, then good for you. If u mean it, dont break it. Dont eat junk food for two weeks, can u handle it? Not at home or at school or anywhere else. Dont drink soda either for two weeks.

Then start cooking food with lots of veggies and protein in it. Its healthy for you and eat a lot of beans and rice. I read in a magazine that they help you lose weight and eat yogurt too. The light one from the commercial "she wore a insy bini bikini or whatever" lol

Weight urself everyday to see how you are doing, if you gain a lil weight, then you must be doing something wrong or your just bloating. Dont worry, if u bloat, it'll go away soon.

Do squats and lunges for smaller thighs. Do jumping jacks and situps for stomach and whoel body. Do jump rope everyday for 10 min at least for a month, dont skip and you'll lose 10 pounds in that month. I also read that in a magazine. Just jump rope everyday for 10 minutes only for a month and you'll lose 10 pounds and dont eat junk food or soda. Walk everyday, every lil thing you do in a day helps too. Like for example......

If u went to lunch and sat down at ur table and u forgot your spoon to eat ur macoroni, u tell ur friend to go get it for you instead of getting it urself, thats excerise. YOU go get it urself. Or instead of going to the mall and u orders stuff online instead, ur not excersing, get it?

Good luck and hop u suceed! Also, put up a picture of the body you want to get to influence you

i'll tell you my process of loosing weight , go for morning walk regularly , eat three meals [breakfast , lunch , dinner] avoid sweets and keep a bottle on the side of your table , sometimes inspite of eating all the three meals we still feel hungry so whenever you fell hungry drink water from the bottle , the amount you can drink , try to drink enough by which the sensation of hunger goes away . water is very useful for other things also , but be regular in your morning walk , actually i have a dog so he wakes me by pulling my blanket every morning then i and he go for a long walk . this way of doing thinks will make you slim fast and for god sake not bulemic

I've heard nothing but good things about the APPLE PATCH diet. Its for people who want to take off 10-40 lbs average. Its all-natural too, not like a lot of the risky diet pills. Everything you need to know is on their site:
