I used to be an atheist. I was raised by atheists. I found Christ in my mid-twenties after much searching. I'm happy to say that I am now a Christian, and after studying the evidence that brought me to Christ, my family is now Christian, too.

I feel very hurt that alot of you are making fun of the question. There is nothing wrong with being a Christian. It's the right way to go. I'm not judging any of you. But it's sad that a religion like Atheist feel that when you die that's it. To me that sounds depressing. Wouldn't you want to feel love by a man Jesus Christ that died for you?and one day when it's your time go to heaven and spend enternity?

I spent time with people that were atheists and I felt sorry for them. It was like they were a confused soul in this world just moving along.

All I have to say is that I will pray for all of you,and hope that one day your eyes will be open.

This person is allowed to specify to christianity if he/she wants to. I know people and have heard about people who used to be anti-life, anti-everything. Now they are wonderful people because they realized what in their opinion is the right way. In answer to the question, I'm sorry but I have always believed. I might sound "goody-goody" but all my life I have been read the bible, praying before bed, saying grace, going to bible camp, talking with my sister about faith, etc. My faith keeps me strong and it always will.

What about ex-atheists who wish to share their story of finding some other religion? Why only Christianity...?

Once you've experienced the feeling of liberation that comes from atheism it's unlikely you would choose to be bound by the chains of theological dogma.

Right here;I use to love to sin and hate goodness;God turned me around and I found true love. It`s not an easy life in fact it`s hard;but the word says many afflictions are the righteous;and now I have peace in my spirit something I need desperatly.

I have one question for you:

Why are you assuming that all ex-atheists found refuge in CHRISTIANITY, out of all religions?

I doubt it - it would be unintelligent to sink into delusional fantasy after embracing logic.
