You can only see your Yahoo! Mail account messages in Outlook if you have Yahoo! Mail Plus. This costs 10$ a year and you wont get any stupid ads in the inbox when you look at the messages. If you have Yahoo! Mail Plus please read on to find out how to download the messages to outlook.

Open Outlook. On the top of the page click tools, then click e-mail accounts on the window drop down page. then make sure the bullet is in the circle that says add a new e-mail account. on the following page select the box that says POP3. then click next. on the next page fill in all of the information. The incoming server is pop.mail.yahoo.com
The outgoing server is smtp.mail.yahoo.com then click next it will start a test and if it is successful it will now download your e-mail to outlook when outook is running or opened

Both Hotmail and Yahoo are web based mail services. You don't need Outlook or Outlook Express to get your mail. BTW, if you can't read Hotmail, something is really broken.

Instead, Goto: www.yahoo.com and sign up for a mail account, then go back later and sign in to read your mail on their site.

Same for www.hotmail.com, just sign in to view your mail.
