Someone is very weary of falling in love and getting hurt. Tired of starting over...give it a rest. Sounds like a very despondent view of love, which can be a very unliberating experience. Love is supposed to free you to be yourself not the image someone else creates. Too much pain comes from trying to squeeze into a mold.
