Sounds real good. I use garlic salt also so seasoned salt would be good. I egg per pound of hamburger. Go for it.

This one sounds a lot better:
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
1 egg
1 dash ground black pepper
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup steak sauce, (e.g. Heinz 57)
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch loaf pan.
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, egg, black pepper and bread crumbs. Pour in the milk, 3 tablespoons of the steak sauce, onion and green bell pepper.
Place the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and shape into a loaf. Brush the top with the remaining steak sauce.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until done. Allow to stand 5 minutes before slicing.

The recipe sounds good--but I would add more, definitely garlic and maybe a little hot pepper. I have used bread crumbs and stuffing, both is good. I would use ketchup in mixing with the meat, maybe a little marinara, but use it on the top and then put a line of green pepper strips over the top. I'm sure you can buy them now, but I use two loaf pans. The top pan has holes drilled into the bottom. I use a spray oil and put my meat loaf in the hole drilled pan, putting it into the other. That way the grease drains out and away from your food.

I'm not too sure about the marinara sauce-I think it would taste more like a big meatball. I mean it would be good but taste more like spagetti. 2 eggs are plenty, i always like to use seasoned salt . People put many different toppings, you should chek out some recipies online.

I made one last week and I put salsa in it - 1/2 a cup to a pound of beef - and then used taco seasoning as well. I'm not a big fan of Mexican stuff but this was really good.

Maybe a little bit of milk, too? 2 eggs are plenty. Either salt, according to what you'd like.
I like a bit of garlic powder in mine.

hmm... i don't know about the eggs, but you should use stuffing instead of bread crumbs- They are so flavorful and moist w/ stuffing.
