I was wondering if meat is that important if we want to gain wait because Í'm my way to become a vegetarian ...and I am doing a lot of weight training, and take other source of protein like casilan , for example ....!! is it ok a weight gain program without meat ?

yeah, but u need to replace the protein with things like beans, soy, stuff like that. maybe u could eat eggs or fish? its up to u

Take a look at http://www.mikemahler.com this guy's a strict vegan. Therefore meat is not important whatsoever if you're trying to bulk up. If you're only going vegetarian the best protein sources would be cottage cheese and egg whites.
