Now I know you can get alot of stuff in an Army enlistment contract and that you cant get the same things in the Corps; what can you get in the Corps that is of significance?

You won't get a lot guaranteed in a USMC contract, but that doesn't mean you won't get it. I have never heard of someone being told they will get a certain job and then being screwed out of it. You will have to ask a recruiter but I believe they have some type of Recon contract in the Marines. Its really not that different, you can't get a lot of stuff guaranteed in the Army, such as Ranger School.

I AM IN THE ARMY BECAUSE WHEN I JOINED I WAS TOO OLD FOR MARINES, SINCE I JOINED, THE MARINES HAVE CHANGED THE AGE LIMIT, SO I WISH I WOULD HAVE WAITED!
I WILL TELL YOU FROM MY OPINION AFTER BEING IN FOR 5 YEARS, THERE IS A LOT OF UNDISIPLINED SOLDIERS IN THE ARMY, THERE IS NOT AS STRONG A BOND IN ARMY AS MARINES AND MOST CERTAINLY NOT AS MUCH HONOR AS BEING A MARINE!
THOUGH LIKE I SAID I HAVE NOT BEEN IN THE MARINES , BUT I KNOW QUITE A FEW AND THERE IS NO COMPARISON IN THEIR BROTHERHOOD!
I AM AN ARMY SOLDIER SUGGESTING YOU CHOSE MARINES!!

actually, most of what the Army offers..Gty'd training, etc.. the Marines also offer. The only difference m,ight be in the amount fo a bonus you get offered or the jobs available to you.

You are guaranteed to spend multiple tours in Iraq if you sign with the USMC.
