If a teenage kid on the welfare becomes pregnant do you think we could teach them some responsibility by taking the child into care and replacing it with a Pit Bull Terrier?

I should point out I live in the UK where there's thousands of the little scrotes claiming from the social. And if you're defending teenagers who are in this situation, stop and think again, a child is a human being but one that is totally dependant on it's parents. It needs to be cared for. If you can't do that then DON'T HAVE A KID ! If you're life changes and you're left holding the baby then that's different and your child deserves help. But don't take liberties with our social system.
And as for the Pitt bull defendants. Yes they are great dogs in the right hands but the same scrotes as described above abuse these dogs and encourage them to be nasty aggressive dogs because they think it looks cool 'innit'.

The welfare system in the UK
is a free for all
it has been caused by various govs past and present and Their total mishandling and bad managment
of this country
its also because of their idiotic policies
and stupid arrogance in general!
just singling out one section of welfare
abusers is pointless
the whole thing needs
to be demolished and
A strict means tested
and sensible upto date system
offering very basic short-term only benefits
should then completely replace it
Hopefully Then any money saved by such
a scheme could be ploughed
into health ,education, and help take some
of the financial burden off of the Heavy penalised motorist
and The ordinary working tax payers shoulders
for once... ps:I wouldnt exactly hold my breath waiting for it though.

You need to get your facts right before you start tarring every teenager with the same brush! You should maybe also take a look in the mirror at the same time and you will maybe see that you aint perfect either. Not all teenagers have babies and drop out of education. Secondly not every teen thats has a baby leaves school there are some who study throughout there pregnancy and/or get a job to support them and their baby without depending on social security benefits. As for council housing its not just teens that are in council accommodation, people young and old have council housing, if you opened your eyes then maybe you would see that. There ARE many reasons for someone needing a council property for example homelessness, eviction, being unable to afford to buy a property or people who have been made redundant and or/lose their home. Alot of people may full rent and council tax to the council and so there arent depending on other tax payers to pay their way. People like you dont make things harder to young people, teens need proper education, support and encouragement, at the end of the day everyone makes mistakes. There are many young people who cant look after their kids but there also plenty older woman and men in there late twenties and thirties that cant either!!!

Interesting idea!
I think that there needs to be education
Babies are lovely but should not be the doorway to a lifetime of benefits and a council flat, sadly that is often the case.
You might think well what does she know about it? Well I was brought up on the biggest council in England and when I was a rebellious 16 year old I went into the council offices to try and get a flat and they told me to have a baby! Fortunatley I didn't take their advice lol Got a job bought a house found a good man and had a baby in that order!
I have got a dog too (not a pit bull!)

Sure. I wonder though if it's not the welfare babies who impregnate girls when they're teens. I've been volunteering with the youngest girl in a family of six welfare kids for 8 years. Her oldest brother had fathered at least 4 kids by the time he was 18. He's 19 now and has another one on the way. Her oldest sister, who is 20, has one child. The 18 year old sister doesn't have any yet. The 15 year old doesn't have kids yet, nor do the two younger ones. (the 19 year old was 11 when the first one was conceived)

LOL. Interesting thought! I have to say that would be a creative solution to all the pit bulls in the shelter system, and the desire for childless couples to adopt an American baby (since there is one baby available for every 2000-3000 couples who want to, apparently.)

But I do have to point out that statistics do show that the most likely demographic of people on welfare are divorced women with an average age of 32 with two children. Teen pregnancy is actually way down. I can vouch for this because I work for WIC. 64% of people on WIC are working families. 56% of babies born in Spokane WA were on WIC. I know WIC is not welfare, but to qualify for WIC most people use their welfare medical coupons.

Teaching more responsibility should start in the schools - team up students and moms so moms can get free babysitting, done (in a adult-supervised situation) by students who see what it is like to bus it around town without a car and with a monthly budget of $500-$1000 and see how they like it. That would be an awesome project.

Hi there
You sound very cross about this. I understand where you are coming from but some girls have babies to have some one to love and love them back, its sad but true. The government does help them out a lot but then if the government didn't the children would be left a lone in the streets bringing up their babies. Its a hard one really and i do feel for some of the young mothers/fathers out there that are trying to bring up there children well. Not all are the same so you cant paint them with the same brush.

Your joking right? First off if a teenager becomes pregnant and needs help that does not mean that they are trash, or that they cant take care of a baby. Second Pitts can be great dogs as long as your not a idiot whos not training them to fight. Third teenagers are not kids, they are teens and should be treated as a human and not some child that you think is stupid.

I accept as true with the Republicans in this. i do no longer accept as true with the final consensus that in effortless words Democrats will earnings in this. you imagine Republican females and boys don't have sex? do not get abortions? Are all to wealthy to apply this? Delusional in case you do. by the way, i'm guessing that virtually all of human beings on welfare do no longer hardship to vote. in spite of everything, even an excellent share of registered voters do not hardship, and there are thousands of thousands no longer even registered. i'm guessing that contains the very undesirable. So pinning that on the Democrats is a crock of crap.

Sadly the RSPCA would have more to say about this than social services do about the care or lack of care some kids get at home.

How cruel would that be - the poor dogs
Seriously though can you imagine how many children would be in care - social services just would not be able to cope
