Usually the symptoms of a kidney infection inlcude;

recurrent urination
difficulty urinating
pain while urinating
back pain
your side may hurt
you might not be able to urinate at all

I would recommend drinking lots of cranberry juice and water for about two to three days and if you are stilll expereincing this symptoms or they get worse, then go see your doctor and he will put you on an antibiotic. Hope you get better!

I wouldn't fool around here. If you think you have a kidney infection, you need to go to a doctor.
Cranberries are great for a quicker kidney cleansing. I would suggest water too. Cut back on sugary fluids.

Symptoms of a Kidney Infection:
*constant urination
*strong urge to urinate
*burning sensation while urinating
*abdominal pain or pressure
*cloudy or discolored urine
*bloody urine
*inability to urinate
*fever

Good luck Hon.

Symptoms of a kidney infection are back pain, pain or burning upon urination, bloody urine. You won't be able to cure this at home, you'll have to see a doctor for this. If you suspect a kidney infection......then don't delay your treatment......you may wind up spending some days in a hospital because you've waited. Best of luck to you.

Maybe you should see a doctor. If the infection gets out of hand it could shut down your kidneys and poisen your body killing you painfully and slowly.

Also drink plenty of cranberry juice, its very good for flushing the kidneys out.

you can probably find the symptoms of a kidney infection on the internet... webmd.com could help. but you should really go see a Dr if you can. In the meantime try drinking lots of water and no less than one large glass of cranberry juice a day... mix the cranberry juice with sparkling water if you want, put a lemon or lime in... it will help with the taste if you don't like cranberry juice straight but please go see a Dr or go to a clinic.

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.

They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!

This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.

It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.

You absolutely must see your doctor.

It's a doctor's job to diagnose and to prescribe. If you don't see your doctor, you are risking killing your kidneys.
