Girls want emotionally unavailable?

Its not as much of a question as a bizzare statement. I was a super nice guy. Still am. But that super nice guy got dumped at Christmas time, cheated on when he was in the hospital and laughed at for saying he wanted kids.
Now I act like I dont care and girls love it. I went home alone as a nice guy and now that I act stad-offish I get laid every night.
My theory: Be a dick. Then girls want you. Take your pick and get married then settle down.
Why are you girls always wanting the opposite? And dont tell me all girls dont want a good guy. 5 years of being on the battlefield proves it.
So chew me out and tell me i'm wrong.

Its because girls are into people that aren't interested in them....it's the challenge...girls think "He's not into me, but I'll get him into me and then dump him like all theothers". Really, would a girl pick a guy that's all nice calling her and giving her flowers or would he pick a guy that was calm, relaxed, and could care less if he hooked up with her or didn't. He'd still get what he wants.
Think about it oppositely...a girl likes you except she's bugging the crap out of you getting you flowers, calling you every day, and being a clingy needy person. Then you see another girl that's not into you at all.

The thing about being uninterested in girls, is that you have to do it right to have the maximum amount of girls. You have to show interest in some level or they'll never even know you exist. Try being that "dick" in the club standing against the wall with a glass of beer at his chest. He doesn't get laid nearly as much as the social guy that's going all around the room talking to every single group (whether he knows them or not) and telling interesting stories, teasing the girls playfully. It build status and status=power.
