I usually go with Oscar Mayer, but Nathan's and Hebrew National are good ones. Sauerkraut, mustard, ketchup and maybe a kosher spear on the side.

Deutchmacher natural casing hot dogs are a family favorite...but frankly (har, har) it depends on how you like them cooked. We enjoy Essem's Hot Dogs, and Hebrew Nationals as well. It depends on how I will be cooking them.
Some dogs are better steamed, some boiled, some fried (either deep fried, or in butter on a pan), some grilled, and PLEASE be careful if you microwave them! They do blow up easily.
Just in the next city over, there is Lawton's "Famous Frankfurters" that are apparently boiled, fried or steamed in beer. They've been in business a gazillion years, and seem quite popular. Since I don't care for beer, I've never bothered to try one.
Personally, I like my bun (split top, not side split) buttered then pan-fried OR toasted on a grill.
I like yellow mustard, and Piccalilli - or green relish if I can't get that.
Sometimes I put a piece of cheese under the dog, and add bacon! (Pig in a blanket?)
And thanks for bringing that up...now I have a craving for one!

I like hebrew national with onion, ketchup, and mustard. Plus hebrew natl. are kosher, so they don't include some of the gross "parts" that other brands use.

hebrew national are good, with some ketchup, mustard, relish, and onion
but my fav dogs are from pink's, with some chili on them and some peppers on the side, with a root beer

I like Vienna all beef hot dogs topped with mustard, onion, pickle, celery salt & a couple of sport peppers. I want one now lol.
