Yes, very normal. I remember the worst acne I ever had was on my forehead around 5th grade. Just practice good face washing twice a day, and use over the counter acne medication (I use Clean and Clear Invisible Blemish Treatment). If that doesn't help it, you could try getting a prescription from a dermatologist or using a product like ProActive. Good luck!

my daughter just turned 14, and I had the same question. She had acne around her forehead, on her nose and on her back. We took her to the dermatologist which suggested she start showering at night to get the oil off her face and skin that comes from her hair, also to start using a prescription daily to help with the acne. It really has seemed to help, especially the showering at night he also suggested that she make sure to rinse her hair completely, around her face. Hope this helps! I know how frustrating and heart breaking it is. The girls have so much to go through that acne doesn't need to be a factor in their precious lives.

Sigh... puberty. It spans from the age of nine to the age of eighteen. Acne isn't EXACTLY puberty signs (I think we all KNOW when we've got puberty). All you have to do is wait for it to happen. Don't freak out over a little thing like acne.

Acne or pimples is due to hormonal changes ,bad diet and unhealthy skin care habits .There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at the link provided.

Everyone is different and starts going through puberty at different ages. It sounds like she is starting, and pimples are very normal. Proactive works good.

Yes, you are perfectly fine! I think that you are smart to recognize the signs. Now you are prepared.
Wash your face a LOT more! During this time, your skin gets a lot more oily.
