Well, the Bible DOES state not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers.......meaning no, it's not ok. It could eventually cause problems. Best of luck to you.

Why not. It really depends on the two of you. If you can accept the fact that he is Hindu and he the fact that you are Christian and you enjoy one another's company then go for it . The main advice I will give for the both of you is not to try and convert the other to your religion - that is where the problems could come into play. You have to like and appreciate someone for who they are not who you think they should be. If you two get along and have a lot in common the try it out. Chances are you can also learn from one another if you keep an open mind. I am a Christian, but I feel there are things that can be learned from other religions. Try a few dates. If you feel after that your differences are too much, then you can call it off. You won't know until you try - if you try and it doesn't happen for you two at least you will know for sure. If you don't try, you'll wonder 'what if' and I think that is worse.
