Relax. You didn't gain all that weight quickly and you should not expect it to go away fast. The people who loose weight and keep it off do it slowly. I know I went from 354 lbs to 185. Sound heavy still? Guess what? I wear size 10 clothing! Muscle weighs more than fat. So as you are turning fat into muscle you are taking one that weighs less and making it into something smaller that weighs more. No one even noticed the first 70lbs I lost. Now they guess how much I weigh and claim I am lying. Don't be discouraged slow and steady wins the race everytime. Good luck and stay with it. My total weight loss of 170lbs took the better part of 2-1/2 years.

What kind of exercise do you do? Are you doing cardio or strength training? Do you work up a sweat every time?

I wouldn't worry so much about how much weight you lose as how you look. If you exercise that much, you might be gaining a lot of muscle and muscle weighs a lot! You may be slimming down, even if the numbers on the scale aren't. Since you look at yourself everyday you might not be able to tell, but those who aren't around you all the time (like your friends at school) might notice. Try getting new veggies into your diet or doing a different kind of exercise. Everyone's got something that works and it might take you awhile to find yours.

Successful weight loss happens slowly, and you are doing it right!

First, stay off the scale everyday! Weigh your self once a week, if that.

Second, how are your clothes fitting? I bet they are getting loose. That is a good sign.

Third, how many people have complemented you recently? Others will see the difference before you do.

Keep up the good work and DO NOT give up!

Your weight fluctuates up and down all day so your right not to check your weight everyday. They say you should lose between 1-3 pounds a week so it sounds to me like you are doing very well. Don't give up you could easily have hit a plateau. Try varying your exercise routine. Do something different that helps sometimes. Hope this helps.

7 pounds in 7 weeks is sensible, maintainable weight loss. Congratulations. You're doing it exactly right!!

Don't pay any attention to the ads making ridiculous claims for diets, pills, or ab machines. Real life doesn't work that way.
