They should be out of heat more than they are in heat - talk to the vet.

My cat was in heat for over a month so I called the vet and they said that once a cat goes into heat they will keep going into heat until they get pregnant or the weather gets cold. They don't go out of heat like dogs. I just had my cats spayed last week. The vet said if the cat was in heat they would charge extra because they tend to bleed more during surgery. I got tired my cats taking turns going in and out of heat, do yourself a favor and just go and get them fixed. Both of my cats are fine after the surgery and they both were in heat.

Yes, you can. The vet will probably charge a little extra because the procedure is more difficult when the cat is in heat, but it's best to go ahead & get it done ASAP to prevent an accidental pregnancy (cats in heat are expert escape artists!).

Thats probably not a good idea. My cats would come into heat about every 2-3 weeks. Ask a veterinarian for sure. Dont risk the health of your kitty.

Yes you can, but a lot of vets will charge a little bit more, because when they are in heat they bleed more from the uterus during surgery, obscuring things a little making it just slightly more difficult to spay them. But not to worry my clinic did it all the time and never had any complications.

Yes, you can get them fixed when they're in heat. What other time are you going to get them fixed? You especially want them fixed in heat because if they run out, you can almost gurantee they're pregnant. If they're pregnant, you'll have to wait another 3 1/2 months to get them fixed so I say... do it now!

Yes you can - you can also get them neutered whilst they are pregnant if you don't mind losing the kittens. I'd book them in as soon as possible.
