I dont mean to be old fashioned but if you guys are not engaged to be married then i suggest you think seriously about this situtation. Its nice that you guys have been together for so long, but a baby is alot to handle and can put strain on a relationship. Unless you are prepared for the idea that someday you may be a single mother then I would be talking about marriage plans . If any guy Im with is asking for a baby, then I would be asking for a ring. Commitment should come before children and even then, you should wait until you both are ready to have a kid, not just him.Thats just my honest opinion.

It's totally up to you, but you should think about what's right for you. Don't feel like you're being pressured into having a baby just because he wants one.Don't rush into anything, you should have a good think about this, you're bringing a human being into the world. Make sure that your relationship is strong and that you can financially handle having a baby.

I agree with marriage. If he is not willing to make THAT commitment, then he IS NOT ready to have a baby. How old are you two anyway? Make sure you are where you want to be in life first. Have you finished your education, do you have a good job, are you ready to bring a baby everywhere you go?

How about getting married first. Is there really something wrong with a kid having 2 parents? And if you say that neither one of you want to commit to marriage, then you shouldn't have a kid.

don't give in if you want to have a baby with him and you love him enoph then you should but if he wants to and you aren't ready then say i am not ready for a child of our own
