ive been going to the gym for 3 weeks now for 2hours each time i do 4 miles on the treadmill and 1/2 an hour on the cross trainer and 10 minutes each with abs machine im 8 1/2 stone how long before i will notice my body toning up ps igo to the gym 3 times a week

You might find that your body gets bigger during this time as it puts on more muscle and if you weigh yourself you might find that you've not lost any weight. Well, don't worry, this is totally normal and the good news is that the presence of muscle burns more fat by just being there, so you'll notice the changes will seem to occur quite suddenly. Give it another month or so though before you start worrying that it's not working. Make sure you're eating plenty of good nutritional food and drinking plenty of water. Good luck, keep it up. It'll work eventually and you'll be so proud of yourself when it does.

If you are wanting to tone I suggest adding free weights. Give any new exercise routine 6 weeks to see results.

3 weeks is no time at all and anyway if your trying to build your muscles your not doing the correct training
