my grandad is getting a new mobility scooter delivered in 3 weeks time so needs a ramp fitted to his bungalow. who do i need to contact about this?

social services disability team - they will organise an assessment to see if he actually requires a ramp to meet his needs. if so they will oragnise the fitting of a ramp at no cost to him as a adaptation below the threhold of £5,000

Are you talking about planning permission? Contact the local council.

Even if you don't need permission, they should be able to advise you on how to go forward with it.
