YES they do! I had a St. Bernard 2 years ago who was very sick and unable to walk...for 3 days we carried him outside in the snow to go to the bathroom and carried him back in to lay down on the floor. He was close to 200 pounds..I cried for him and with him and told him I could no longer do this and told him I have to let him go home to Jesus. The last night he was with me, I asked him if he would be ok with this, as I explained what I thought heaven would be like for him. Lots of children and snow, and lots of people that would run and play with him...and then I told him that an angel would come when it was time and show him the way to this place. Behind me I felt a small wind that felt like wings from an angel...my dog raised his head and looked over my head and then looked back at me and tried to get up. When the vet gave him the shot he layed his head on my lap and looked at me as if to say I see them mom and I'm going home. Call me crazy, but it was an experience I will never forget, and with all my heart YES I do believe there are animals in heaven!

The Bible does not give any specific teaching on whether pets / animals have “souls” or whether pets / animals will be in heaven. However, we can take some general Scriptural principles and shed some light on the subject. The Bible states that both man (Genesis 2:7) and animals (Genesis 1:30; 6:17; 7:15,22) have the breath of life. The primary difference between human beings and animals is that man is made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-27). Animals are not made in the image and likeness of God. Being made in the image and likeness of God means that human being are like God, capable of spirituality, with mind, emotion, and will - and - have an aspect of being that continues after death. If pets / animals do have a “soul” or immaterial aspect, it must therefore be of a different and lesser "quality." This difference probably means that pet / animal “souls” do not carry on after death.
Another factor to consider in this question is that God did create animals as a part of His creative process in Genesis. God created the animals and said they were good (Genesis 1:25). Therefore, there is no reason why there could not be animals on the new earth (Revelation 21:1). There will most definitely be animals during the millennial kingdom (Isaiah 11:6; 65:25). It is impossible to say definitively whether some of these animals might be pets we had while here on earth. We do know that God is just and that when we get to Heaven we will find ourselves in complete agreement with His decision on this issue, whatever it may be.

The answer from the Bible is humans continue to exist after death. It makes no such case for animals; there is not evidence that they can participate in the resurrection to life.
That being said, when God creates the New Heavens and the New Earth, the final home for the redeemed, there is strong scriptural evidence that he will restore "all things", likely including animals, much like it was after creation. In Job, God pointed to the giant beasts of the earth as a demonstration of His glory; we can expect that the recreation of animals will again be a testimony of His glory.

Dogs, like all the animals, do not go to heaven or hell. Heaven and hell are only for souls, something that only people have. The animals do not have a soul to be judged by Lord. Only human beings will be judged and their souls will continue endlessly existing in heaven or in hell. The animals do not have a soul; they have a heart, feelings etc, but when they die, their life stops there.

Animals do not go to heaven or even get the chance to live again, God did not create animals for that purpose. Man was created in Gods' image, in that we have qualities like God, Love, freewil, etc. Humans were created never to die, death did not become an issue until Adam sinned and brought imperfection and death to all his offspring, to counter this God set out a plan to redeem man from this fallen state through his Son, Christ Jesus. Those who die will be resuurected back to life who are in God's memory for such, God has sellected 144,000 humans to serve in heaven as priests and associate kings with Jesus Christ and they will rule over the earth, the rest of mankind who are chosen as righteous will live forever on earth, where, there will always be animals who will listen to man and we will all get along with each other, so even though animals will continue to die, we will always have animals we can treat as pets as God has made us stewarts of the earth and we are to care for the earth and all creation here just as God told Adam and Eve in Genesis, God's oringinal plan for mankind and the earth has not changed and his word must give results, it cannot fail.

ok, the people saying there is no heaven is wrong. there is a heaven, and when you die, your spirit is still alive, just not your body. Animals do not go to heaven, although the catholics and christians do. the buddhist, non-believers, muslims, and all that people go down THERE.

If you really look closely at an animal, and think about it, you will realize that the spirit of God resides in them. It is not too much of a stretch to think they would be in heaven to greet the ones who loved them. And they would comfort us there too.
