The most important part of being able to show off your six pack is your diet. As far as exercise goes, try this one at a gym: lie on your back on a bench, put a light dumbbell between your feet, and do leg raises. Just go about a foot or two above parallel (you don't want to drop the dumbbell on your head).

Do crunches, sit-ups, or use an AbLounge.

Running and swimming also build a strong core and help your abs as well as the rest of your body.

I have learned that for myself crunches and similar exercises help but with out minimizing sugars and fat in your diet you will never achieve great abs
