Yea, its bad. You shouldnt be taking money from anyones purse. When youre an adult, what would you think if someone was taking money from your purse? Think about it.*

Return the money. It's really awful. You violated your aunt's personal property and stole from her. You betrayed her trust. Had your aunt known a thief was in the house, she would have hid her purse. But she trusted you. When she entered your home, she felt safe. When she goes to buy the item for which that $20 was intended, she will "know". Adults have lived a long time and they "know". Don't think it will be overlooked.

Even if you don't "feel" guilty, make it right. People who do wrong things over and over in the beginning have a guilty feeling. That feeling is our conscience functioning as it should. If we neglect the feeling in our conscience, it will become hardened until it no longer functions as it should. That person will no longer feel guilty when they do wrong. This is why you have heard "they had no remorse" of some who have been tried for a henious crime.

What you have done is a serious mistake and not a small one. In a year you may not feel guilty about mugging someone or robbing a bank. Your stealing is serious. It must be stopped. This seemingly "small" event can affect your entire life. Orange suits are the outcome.

Yes, that's pretty bad. You're stealing and also you're taking more now; what's next, taking $100? Robbing someone on the street? Taking money from someone isn't acceptable, whether it's your family or anyone else.

Yes, I would say that it's bad that you don't feel guilty for stealing. Why don't you just asked them if you could borrow money from them?

you are a criminal just like one who would go into a store and shoplift... or into a bank and hold it up... and by the law you would be considered just the same and face the same punishment... that you have no guilt or shame makes you a sociopath and an even greater threat to society... your family has my sympathy for having you around.
