Not because of the bribe. I vote because it is my constitutional duty, not a chance at a quick buck.

But I do see where you are coming from. If all of the politicians have sold out to Global Corporate interests, Why shouldn't we get a piece of the pie. That being said, is $500 enough for your vote?

That is just what we need! Paying people to vote.

I always vote. Unfortunately, I usually write in, unless there is a third party candidate. The Democrat and Republican parties are really ONE party. There is no difference.

Nothing changes no matter which of them is in office. More government, more taxes, bigger deficits, less freedom, more decadence, and the list goes on.

If you are old enough, look back at how things were in the 1950's, and how they are today. How do you like paying half of your income in taxes (federal, state and local)? How do you like what Congress has been doing to the Bill of Rights (to fight terrorism)?

Do you think Congress will ever declare war again? Why bother? Why follow the Constitution?

How do you like our public schools? How have we allowed our politicians to lower the standards, considering how much money is being spent for education?

Some people don't vote because they are apathetic-they just don't care. Some people don't vote because they don't like anybody running. I always vote, but I write in before I will vote to elect or reelect a criminal.

Certainly it is time for a new party, that is free from the domination of special interests, like the Council on Foreign Relations. Until then, I guess I will have to write in.

I think that would be a great incentive they do not spend the money appropretly anyway might as well let the people have some back and we would probably see a better person that truly represents the peoples interest aslo they should take the ban off convicted felons everyone unless encarcerated 18 and above who is a citizen should be aloud to vote

i would but liberals probably wouldnt. consider the bush tax cuts. im far from well off with a hefty mortgage and a full and part time job and yet liberals constantly whine about the tax cuts. i got two checks and spent mine and yet the liberals think the money that i make should be controlled by the government and want to end it...go figure. my point here is this. great idea, all for it, but fat chance with the pelosi ites.

Nope. Voting for any man-made government would be a betrayal of my devotion to God's government as the only solution to mans problems.
