the phone company said they couldn't give me one, but i need to prove that on a certian date this company did not call my house, they said they did and left me a message but i never got it, how do the police get it, and when some ppl go to court they get the record to prove someone called them? please help this is really important to me, i really need your help! thank you!!

They should give it to you. It's your right to have it if you ask for it.

not possible, the way the police get this list is the person first files a report that they are reciving harassing or threatening phone calls, and only then after that point a pen register is placed on there phoneline, which produces a list of all incomming phone calls, for what you need this for it is not possible... and the list is only available for law enforcement purposes, not for your personal use..

what you need is an on-line call-log! ask your phone company if they have this paid feature! many provider have it now, it comes free with my service! I just love this feature, it shows all incoming and outgoing calls!
