It is really hard for me to understand the answers I get here, they all seem to contradict something..if God doesnt want us to kill people why would he put a child of his own on earth to be killed? He knew it was going to happen. If I did that to my ex-boyfriend...say I took him into a bad neighborhood and said he was a cop...because I knew theyd kill him.. Id go to hell right? But in my eyes Id be saving other women from his torment. So, what makes it different? Shouldnt he set the example of the behavior he expects from me? If he doesnt believe in his own word, why should I?

Oh Honey, go for it. You might be sparing his future girfriend a life of misery.

Sometimes you have to get into bed with the devil to do the angels' work.

I dnt know how best I can put this but here goes:

God can do anything he wants, even if sacrificing his son was ''wrong'' he couldn't go to hell; HE'S GOD!
Sacrificing his son isnt wrong because he needed to do it in order to save us from eternal misery. Some ppl look at it as something cruel but just think about it; sacrificing Jesus ALONE saved us ALL, only his blood was holy and precious enough to save us... Also, if you are a Christian and you committed a crime, such as killing your ex-boyfriend, you would NOT go to hell! I have seen ppl get confused by this over and over again, yes murder is a sin, yes God doesnt want us to do it, BUTT from reading the bible you would see that God loves us regardless! (Just remember this still doesnt give us the right to committ these sinful acts) you cannot ''lose'' your Christianity! John 3:16 - ''For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him shall have eternal life.'' Key word: ETERNAL, that means it is forever! We are all human, so we make mistakes, the key is to realize how wrong we were, ask God for repentance, and go on trying to serve him! As the bible also states, nothing can seperate us from him, once you accept him you are a child of his, he will protect you and guide you if you let him, ppl ask why he allows things to happen, it is just his way of getting our attention (I myself have witness a number of tragedies AND miracles lately), we need to humble ourselves and wake up! The end is near, I hope this helped!

As someone said, he's like the wind, you cant see him but you can see what he does!

''Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.'' Hebrews 11:1

*sigh* your ex-boyfriend is not the problem (no matter how bad he is) - satan IN your ex-boyfriend is the problem. There is always hope in this life that he may give his heart to the Lord and become a different person. God saw that all of mankind would end up in an Eternity without Him if He did not provide a way to pay the penalty for sin once and for all. So He sent His Son, who willingly came to give His life for all of us. Why do you try to twist the epitomy of pure love into something evil? Jesus gave His life knowingly and willingly - He didn't have to. He said "don't you know that I could even now ask my Father and He would send 10 legions of angels" to come to His "rescue." But that would not have fulfilled the Scriptures and His Father's Will. So it had to be so that you would not have to go to hell. What are you going to do about His sacrifice for you?

See,, I wish I had an answer,, but I am not christian,, so there is no hell. I do believe in reincarnation and the cycle of life and the idea of karma (different word same idea). So I would not sacrifice him cuz maybe he has lessons to learn that I would interrupt (his own karma thing) and I don't want to be a snail next life for such a judgmentish decision,, lol.. just a thought.

God put Jesus here to save us from ourselves yak, yak, yak i am sure you have heard it all before. Here is something that you might have heard though. God put the devil down here to tempt us but when we kept failing he sent down Jesus to give us a second chance. God knew Jesus was going to die, Jesus knew he was going to die, Lucifer knew he was going to die so it doesn't really matter. If you can convince your ex that getting dropped off in the bad part of town is good for him and he is doing everyone a favor then i should say you will be OK. Good luck with that. Too many d i c k s in the world anyway.

haha, sacrifice your ex? possibly one of the funniest things i've ever come across on answers. but as to your question...i dont consider myself a super-religious person but i was raised catholic and i understand where you're coming from. there are a few things that i don't agree with because they seem to contradict themselves but that's the great thing about religion...it is left up to interpretation, and everyone does have their own opinions. god did let his son die, but it wasn't so much that "he" sacrificed his own son. jesus, like the rest of us, was born with free will. he chose his path and realized that he was giving himself up for the good of man-kind.

Hmm seems like maybe you need to be sure who the crazy one in the relationship was first.. And the story of Jesus is more like the equivalent of the blockbuster movie of the time that any shade of reality... It doesnt make sense, any more than Star Wars..

Do as He says, not as He does. He also wiped out nearly all the life he created on the planet he created in a giant flood because he didn't like the actions of one species. He has a pretty arrogant attitude about life.

Thank you for using the word 'sacrifice'.
What God did was indeed a sacrifice.
He could have well lived without it.
Your analogy is a tad off.
If your sister needed a kidney and your parents suggested you could give one ...and you accepted, but due to complications, although your sister lived, you died.
Are your parents murderers?
Should they go to a fiery hell?
Or, could it simply be that a sacrifice was made and others benefitted from it?

Relax. If Christ, as Lamb of God, took upon himself the sins of the world, then Christ redeemed the sinners, including your ex-boyfriend; it's not necessary for you to kill your ex because the wages of his sin were pre-paid by Christ.

Thank you for thinking of the other girls, though.
