In my opinion the best one is the elliptical, because its a lot less impact on your legs, especially your knees. just make sure you set the Resistance high, most people set it to low and it ends up being momentum working instead of them pushing it around.

I think you'll burn calories faster on a treadmill, but the elliptical is easier on your joints (important for old farts like me, ha ha ha).

it depends on what u wanna do if u want to run,jog than treadmill if u just want more of a walk thats easier on ur joints than elliptic.

i would think a treadmill bcause you are running and it really excercises your body
