What do you do when a guy who is nice, but you're not inteested in asks you out? I don't want to hurt his feelings, but I really don't want to date him. How do you reject him nicely w/out giving him mixed signals?

You can say that,"You are a really nice guy, but I don't think we'll get a long well. Sorry." Thats all you need to say.

The only way to not send mixed signals is to tell him directly that u like hanging with him or talking to him but u aren't interested in any other way and probably won't be. If u were in his shoes u wouldn't want someone to dance around the issue. It only hurts more when u do that. Just tell him straight up and if he still wants to be friends then he will keep coming around.

Don't flirt with him when you tell him no. Don't try and say it nice. Make it blunt. Say, "Oh that's so sweet, but I'm kinda seeing someone right now, sorry if I gave you the wrong impression." Even if your not seeing someone atleast he thinks you could consider him in a situation, but it's the wrong place and wrong time for him to try and make his move on you, because you've got someone else....they never have to know that you don't, cuz you could!

Be nice to him and continue to be his friend WITHOUT leading him on. Just tell him you're not interested in dating him/anyone right now. Be straight up and honest. Tell him that it's very kind but he's not what you are looking for right now. Just be honest and cool about it.

Tell him that you have met someone with whom you really click and would like to pursue a relationship with him. Tell him that he is a nice guy and that he, too, will meet someone with whom he will hit it off

you should say something like: well i would go out with you but i don't like you like that, i will go out with you as a friend though. don't just say no and don't make your self go out with some one you don't like. tell him how you feel saying that he is really nice but you just want to be friends

oh that is a tough one just tell him you would like to just be friends or just say " I don't think friends should date " something like that so he knows the only thing you want from him is friendship

hahah:P i kind of have the same problem. But i just tell him that i don't feel like it's good for us to go out together because he knows that i don't like him....so... he gets it i tink
