this was a miraclel worker. I feel like i can still function but can let the irritating things roll right off me. Should i see a Dr about getting this prescribed or how do go about getting this. do i tell the dr that i took a pill like that before....would it be somethinhg that i have to take daily? Please help....i had taken like a 5 mg pill and i had forgotten that i took it and then i was suddenly like ....i feel so muchbetter for some reason...then like 5 min later i rememberd i took the med.....advice? discuss.

More than likely, it was Klonipin. That drug is generally for mental disorders, my mother takes it. Go see a therapist and ask them if they can help you with your horrible days. They may prescribe something for you or they may just give you alternatives how to deal with your stress. You would have to take it daily, depending on the severity, you would be taking a little to a lot a day.

You should never take a med that is not prescribed for you especially since you don't even know what the med was. Both of these are used for certain purposes and should not be abused for things like a "horrible day or very irritated". Those are normal every day things we need to learn to deal with and not something that meds are perescribed for. Do not ask your doc for a med when you have no need for it.

well, these meds are for anxiety disorders. your best bet would be to discuss this with your family doctor, or possibly get a psych eval done and have a psychiatrist presribe them for you. these are very strong meds, so only do this if you are serious. there are a lot of side effects to these.

don,t fall into the trap of taking meds to feel better. later on you will need more, then more and more. i was addicted to meds for 12 yrs, ot took a toll on me. by the grace of our Lord jesus i was free from the bondage of drugs.

Are you aware that these are controlled drugs? They are highly addictive. Your sister could be arrested for giving it to you. Don't get hooked on prescription drugs. You will end up in re-hab.
