I don't see why chewing gum would help.
Chewing gum makes your body expect food come to your stomach and hence stomach acid gets produced. It will make you hungry and possibly bloated and/or cause heartburn.
It is also not good for your teeth, even if it is sugarfree gum.

Make sure the exercise targets the belly area and eat lots of fibre (wholegrain, bran, veggies).

are you doing the right exercises? but often after toning up the abs the loose skin doesnt go bak, and can only be removed with surgery, if your chewing instead of eating, try eating a varied diet not just gum and fruit, meat and fresh veg are needed too

hiya, had any good advice yet?

tell you what i do, and i swear by it.

all you need is a tennis ball and some chil out music.
(go with me on this....)

sit on your botom...on the floor not on a cushion.
put your feet flat on the floor so your knees are bent.
put the tennis ball between your knees.

now your set...x

begin to slowly lay back, as you go lower you will feel a strain, as you feel this, pull yourself back up and do NOT push yourself further hunni, (it'll hurt lol x)

repeat this a few times a day 3 times a week, before you have a shower or someting. (DONT FORGET....keep the tennis ball between your knees, dont let it go..)

also when you are walking about, hold your tummy in, and honestly, you will see the difference after aprox 1 week, i swear by it, it got me my job....;o) xx
