Hi I've lived here all my life and it is the Best city anyone can live in. Its so diverse and there are so many things you see here that you probably wont see anyplace else. We have the best museums, shopping centers, art galleries, night clubs, restaurants and thee Fashion District need I say more. New Yorkers are made out to be these snobby, rude and mean people but that's sooooo wrong I speak for myself and for my friends and family that New Yorkers are a lot of fun and just like to mind there business and go about there everyday lives. You should come and visit I'm sure you will love it here, you wont be bored cause there's always something to do here, hey lets not forget that New York City is one of the most sought out places to live and most expensive so there must be something great about it.

I'm glad I moved out of New York even though I work with New Yorkers virtually. It's a very hectic place and the polution can really start to affect you after a year or two.

I really enjoyed it but I'd rather visit then live there. If you do move there, take the train out to Long Beach, Long Island to get some relief from the summer heat. Even though it's a big city, there are tons of places to go outside of the city that have rolling hills and countryside if you need a break.

Also along the water on the hudson river there is a nice path. I used to love going to Central park and walking through the trees.

I've lived here for 10 years and there are tons of neighborhoods that I am unfamiliar with and I'd be lost if I went there. I know the areas that I live, work and hand out in like the back of my hand but other neighborhoods might as well be another city to me. Honestly, I don't even know what's 10 blocks west of where I live. I've never walked that direction because I've never had to so I might even get lost if I went over there.

For the most part, it's tough to get lost in Manhattan since the streets are on a grid and are numbered so 2nd St. is obviously below 34th St. 8th Ave is further west than 1st Ave, etc.. In any other part of the city, if someone gets lost, all they have to do is look for the nearest subway station which has a map. Any train in the city can take you to another train that can get you where you need to go. It's actually pretty difficult to stay lost for very long.

I use to live in NY. I wanna go back. You can find everything ova there. Theres parties, restauraunts, shopping, tight people, and you can just go out to New Jersey and go to six flags or go to coney island. The only freakin problem is that if you dont want to live in a small apartment paying rent and u want to buy a house, it can cost quite a $#%@* load of money. But Overall. NYC IS DA BEST.

You wouldn't be lost and confused.... When I moved up here I was totally overwhelmed and thought the same thing. It is much easier to get around then people think. It's great here...I love it!

#1 "New Yorkers" are a people not a place so you can't think "New Yorkers" is an interesting PLACE.

#2 If New York was the last place left on earth to live, I'd have to kill myself.
