It is probably mites, but you can't see them with the naked eye, they are too small, you need a magnifying glass or an otoscope to see them. If the ear canal smells bad, it may be an ear infection, either way you should get her to a vet. If it is mites, she will pass them to her pups and they are easy to get rid of with a vets help. If it is infection, she will get very irritable and might snap at the pups or you, or it could affect her hearing, so go to the vet with her. Good luck

You wouldn't necessarily see mites - a vet would need to look right down the ear with a special instrument to see them. I would get a vet to do that anyway, because there are several different ear conditions and therefore several different treatments she may need.

Probably Ear Mites, or she needs her ears cleaned on professionally.
Go to the vet, they should be able to give your dog some medication.

Do they smell. If they do it could be Canker or it may be that the pups have nibbled her ear and started an itch/scratch/itch type of irritation or it may be due to a hormone unbalance as she has just had pups.I would take her to see the vet if it doesn't settle down quickly.

could be ear mites or excess wax. you can buy drops from most pet stores. One other cause can be hair growing into the ear canal.

She may have some dry skin, or one of her pups my have bit her ear playfully and accidentally torn a little something. It's probably nothing, really. It may be habit too.
Check for dry skin, and call your vet to see if you should be looking for any other odd behaviour.

Do her ears have a funky/bad smell? Are they red or inflammed looking? When you cleaned them were they exceptionally dirty? If so, then I'd get her looked at by a vet.
