I need something small and lovable. Something fuzzy but not sheddy. I like lazy dogs and Im not fond of jumpy playful dogs. Something loyal and goes along with other dogs that aren't the same breed, but small like him. Thanks!

Maltese!! They're all white and have really nice fluffy hair. I have a maltese named Mason- He is so cute and cuddly, and he doesn't shed. He gets along with every type of dog and he is so sweet and affectionate and very loyal- (borderline attached :) You would probably love them- or even a yorkie...they're similar, that's actually going to be my next dog.

When picking a dog, you have to consider a several things. First, where are you going to put the dog? Is ot going to be an indoor dog? If this is the case, you want to stick to the smaller breeds.
Next, how much time do you want to commit to the animal? Some breeds are demanding of your attention.

If you are wanting an outside dog, you can never go wrong with a Lab or a retriever, or a mix of either.

For indoor dogs, Cocker spaniels and very cudly, and need to be groomed regularly, depending on the fur type.

Beagles a very loyal and loving, but very low maintanence. They also make a good watch dog.

Well, I did a little research for you. The sad thing is, most loveable dogs are a little sheddy, and youll never get a dog that doesnt shed at least a little bit. Since you wanted a smaller dog, any kind of CORGI are really loveable, funny, and cuddly!! I love them so much, as a babysat one a while back and wanted to keep her! Also, if you are a fan of Siberian Husky lookers, a very good choice would be the intelligent, CUTE, cuddly, friendly, SHIBA INU. They are basically a home friendly version of the Siberian Husky. I thought I would give you some different dog choices others wouldnt mention. I myself own a VERY wonderfull, human like dog, called the large munsterlander. she is one of 800 in North America, and is like a sister to me! Lol, hope this helps!

yahoo at one time had a dog quiz you could take that would match you to the best breeds for you.

Bulldogs are not lazy dogs! They are very high energy. They have been in my family for years.

The laziest dog I've ever owned have been my basset hounds though as puppies they are high energy too. I'd say a bichon or something like that but just go to a shelter and sit with different breeds...

Maltipoos (maltese poodle mix) are very cute, and very affectionate. They're absolutely fluffy, and do not shed. They get no more than 4-7 lbs. If you get one as a puppy, they're kind of hyper, but aren't all puppies? And if you get one as a puppy and raise it around other dogs it should deal with other dogs just fine.

Ah....West Highland White Terrier.
He can get playful sometimes, but he settles down quickly. One of the most recommended dogs for people with allergies. (Doesn't shed alot.) They get only with pretty much everything, you just have to introduce them at a young age. I hope you find this helpful!

I agree with yorkie, my neighbor has one, he is tiny and adoreable and loves her, yet he is not very playful. All puppies are playful, but when peanut was over a year he calmed down. How about checking into a yorkie rescue? Good luck.

I would try a short haired miniature dachsund. They are everything you ask for. They are very loyal and go along with other dogs (if they have too). And they are cute
