In my experience society and the media give the perception that white people, in general, are more attractive than asian people. You can agree with this or not and nobody can say you're wrong, because beauty is a personal preference and different people have different standards. But anyway this is particularly true for guys, where white guys are perceived as most definitely more attractive than asian guys. The american media really screws us over in this regard because, almost always, unattractive asian guys are casted for asian roles, whether in movies, shows, or commercials, often to fit in with a stereotype of this money-grubbing bastard or a huge nerd or something of the like (the TV show "Heroes" comes to mind). I mean even as a guy I can notice when another guy is butt-ugly. If you look in asian media this is obviously not true, they cast a good-looking asian guy for the good-looking guy role (for example, the main guy character in the movie "House of Flying Daggers"). Asian girls in american media don't have the same problem asian guys do because the "exotic asian beauty" is a common role/stereotype.
Because of this and other social perceptions, a lot of people feel that asian guys are not good looking. SO, I think some asian guys develop an inferiority complex and get angry and jealous when they see a white guy with an asian girl. But, because deep-down they also have this idea that white people are really good looking, they want to get with a white girl, again as a result of that inferiority complex. We call those people "haters."
Of course this is not true of most asian guys, but some people are definitely like that, so I understand where your question is coming from. Personally, I can appreciate all kinds of female beauty without generalizing that one race is better looking than another... it always comes down to the individual. I think Alicia Keys is the hottest girl on the planet right now. I also consider myself a decent-looking guy so I don't have this problem, HAHA.

"some" men are insecure and childish. I'm an Asian American and frankly I don't care and many Asian guys i know don't care either. Date whoever you want but be proud of who you are and don't deny the truth. There are some mental cases of Asian women who deny they're Asian. It's pathetic. We are Asian - American, American people of the Asian persuasion. Be proud of who you are! And don't over generalize. People are people. Every single guy or girl is a different person so don't stereotype. It's ignorant to do so. I wouldn't care if my little sister dated white black or any race as long as the guy was a man i could respect. She ended up with a successful and good looking Taiwanese American man who i can see eye to eye with. It's funny. She got chased by handsome white or black men but didn't give them a chance. In my case it's the opposite, my sister is against me going for white chicks. Working on that but lil' sis has some serious Asian pride.

Because some guys want it all. Maybe they see their sister with a white guy and they can't stand that, but those are just hypocrites.
