King Charles Cavalier / Poodle cross breed..... sounds bad I know, but these dogs are beautiful!!

do they breed to type then,as cross breeds can take characteristics of either breed.

i hope not this kind of cross breeding is bad for the existing breeds that we already have , they will all die out because people think its a clever idea , not a king Charles cavalier and not a poodle, no its a cavapoo, thats them two breeds on the way to extinction.

Hopefully not. The type of breeder who would deliberately cross these 2 breeds is not the type to worry about the health of the puppies or the welfare of the mothers. Both breeds have health problems which should be checked for before breeding - I doubt that any "breeder" of so called Cavapoos would bother. Why pay pedigree prices for a mongrel? Decide which breed you want & go to a reputable breeder instead. Or get a rescue crossbreed.
