You need to change your question to start as: "my ex-boyfriend..."
You don't want a felon as a boyfriend.

He's waiting to see the bail court on Monday morning. They will set bail then he can either make bond or stay in jail until his first court date where he will be arraigned.
That should give you plenty of time to break up with this loser and go find a decent man for yourself!
By the way, how much Walmart crap do you have to steal to take $4000 worth?! If he works there and it was an inside job taking stuff out the back, he's looking at some serious penalities.
Moral of the story, pay for your things....... leave him in jail awhile, it will do him good.

Felony theft with that amount, and his bail will be very high. They will have a first hearing to see if there is enough evidence to file charges, and see if he can afford an attorney or have one appointed. They will set the bail amount then. Since you don't have even the 10% the bail bondsman would need, he will go back to jail until trial. When they find him guilty, they will give him probably 5 years and order restitution or some type of monetary fine, give him credit for the time he has served up until then, and you won't see him except behind glass.

He will be there until the judge gets back to work Monday morning. Depending on the amount of people that were arrested before your boyfriend, he will see the judge some time Monday. As for bail, he will probably get it. It was not a violent crime and he is no danger to the public. If he cannot post bail, he will sit in jail until a court date where he can plead before a judge.
If Wal-Mart got their stuff back, he can expect a fine, time served and maybe probation. If any was damaged, the judge will expect him to pay for it, a fine, time served and maybe probation.

What do you grab at Wal-mart worth 4 thousand dollars?
He will stay in jail for a while, until someone posts bail.

well first of all, how hold is he? if hes over 18, then he is going to be in big trouble, bc big companies like walmart prosectute, especially when the cost is over or near 5 grand.... he needs a good lawyer, and he needs to straighten up...why are you dating a guy who steals anyways? I suggest you dis tatch your self from him...he just threw his life away... he might end up with some jail time, min. 2yrs, unless he finds himself a great laywer with a big mouth....
if hes under 18, then his parents might be mad enough to not bail him out.... but either way, he might need to spend a few odd number of days in jail... i am guessing roughly 30 days or so, because setting up court days usually take about a month, however, it could be speed up too....thats if someone plans on bailing him out, and they have that kind of money on hand in cash... bc his bail will be extreamly high... and even higher bail if hes over 18.
good luck, and like i said, your bf just made a huge mistake, and i suggest that you find someone better... that way YOUR better off too....

depends on where you live. Most times the person will set bail but if on a weekend then they won't set bail for there is no judge on weekends. I suggest finding a new boyfriend dear.

He's going to stay in jail till he goes before a judge. He has to see a judge within 24 hours of his arrest normally. Based on the amount of property he took, bail will be set. Call or go to the jail, they can give you all the details. You might want to move on, not hitch your stars to your boyfriend, I personally don't see a great future with him if he has done this. Best of luck in any case.

Hard to say what they will do..Depends on a couple factors
1) Is he a flight risk?
2) Is this a 1st offense
Those are the two that I can think of...
Now a bit of advice for you. This is not the type of boyfriend you want..What if he had done this when you were with him thats accessory. You'd be in jail also. If he is going to steal from Walmart who says it is not going to escalate from there? I would stay away from him if I were you. There are plenty of men out there to choose from that are honest and caring etc...I would choose one of them over this loser.

He may jailed for the weekend then arraigned on Monday. If bail is set and he can post it then he'll be out. If not he's there until trial.
