my boyfriend is in California for a week, and he tells me ont he phone that he feels very lonely especially without me being near him.... Whats some things i can say on the phone to make him feel like he's home, like he's near me type-of-a-thing?

i doubt hes playing me.
cant send him a card.. hes there in cali for only a few more days

Just talk with him normally. Talk to him about your day so he feels like he was a part of it. Don't bring up the fact that he is so far away. Never make him feel guilty about being away. Maybe make plans for when he gets back so he has something to think about.
Make time to talk to him. Try not to cut him short when you are talking. That will make him feel even more lonely.

Among other things, you could visit. I don't mean to be crass, but if the two of you are experiencing an intimacy problem because of the distance you could experiment with phone sex and picture mail (I don't know how physical your relationship is, so this may not be the answer).
Other than that, my suggestion would be to talk for hours on end about the stuff you both could do together once he gets home. Ask him to think about different ideas for stuff you could do, like what movies will be coming out that week or a restaurant the two of you haven't been to or whatever it is you two like to do. Make suggestions for activities and remind him that it's only a few days.

He must miss beign near you. Well, you can tell him that you love him, and support him, and courage him to do what ever he's doing in Califonia for that week. If its not an accomplishment hes at Cali for then you can speak to him as if he was at home. Chit chat, and joke around. Just to put some excitement in his head to know that your always with him.Well, bye!!! :)

Reassure him that you've been thinking about him...and how you miss him...think of things you both can do to kickstart your relationship again when he returns next week., spending time together doing something Fun and different*~ (go carting, or ice skating, rollerblading....)
Time will pass by quickly and he'll be home before you know it*~ Keep on Smiln*

He is playing you. You should know this. I say the same things to my girl when I am on business trips during the week. Grow up and learn something now before you realize it later. Good times!!!
