The simple solution, that works, is Accutane. Accutane is not a controversial drug; it is a spectacular, life-changing drug that's been in regular use for almost 24 years. It rarely (if ever) causes depression. It causes tremendous happiness when people miserable over their severe acne finally clear up. If you doctor recommends it, don't let the alarmist publicity scare you off. Properly used, it's a safe and pretty-easy-to-take drug, and it's effectiveness is reliably remarkable.

~best wishes!~

I also am fighting an acne disaster. Mine has been several months and very painful and festering. I tried all kinds of products but here is what worked for me: First, stop using all products that scrub. They will only spread infection. Second, don't use any products that have acid. It can cause the skin to feel over-dry, thus producing more oil to "help", thus adding to the problem. Finally, to get rid of the acne itself, I use plain yogurt as a mask every morning. Within one week there was a huge noticible difference (even my kids said so). It sounds really weird, but it really did work. I just rub it on after I was with a gentle cleanser, let it dry for about 30 minutes and rinse (no cloth). Even the little scab areas are going away, and it is helping with scars, too. Truly the quickest product (and the cheapest) I have ever used! As an aside, you may try to find out why you are breaking out - the problem could be eliminated by removing the offending item (i.e. is there a food allergy that needs to be addressed or a cleansing product that you are reacting to?)

A pack for acne or pimple prone skin would be that of honey (1 tsp) with 1/2 (tsp ) of cinnamon powder. Apply for 15 minutes. Due to the antiseptic properties, bacterial infections in the skin are treated. More remedies at the link below.

When I was a teen and into my twenties I used Aloe Vera gel and covered my face ( not eyes) with before I went to bed. It is easily absorbed by the skin and seemed to reduce an outbreak. But I don't think it's a permanent solution... Also HIGH, sustained STRESS, cause cause an outbreak. Best bet is to a dermatologist - it could be hereditary.

When I had a bad problem, my husband ordered me a product called Murad. It was a miracle. I imagine that they have a web-site. Their product contains muradic acid, which just amazingly gives you a new face. Good luck.
