Mpm will start at around when pups are 4 weeks old,, to not stay in the box with her babies as much as she once did. The Mom will feed her babies but not all the time when they were younger. My female would feed her 4-5 week old pups around 4 ---6 times daily. Once your pups get their teeth in,,,start feeding them a real soupie puppy food,,,,, to help balance out their feedings with their mom still feeding them.. Best of luck hope this helps!!!

It usually starts at 4 weeks and is complete by 6 weeks. However, som mothers allow their pups to nurse much longer, like until 10 weeks. It also depends on the breeder. Some breeders will make the pups be weaned by 6 weeks so they can get them off to their new homes.

Depends on the puppy and the mom but usually around 4 to 8 weeks, ask the Vet. If the puppy has problems he may want the pup to suckle longer.
Be sure you are feeding the Mom lots of food so she can make enough milk for the puppies

Most puppies will begin nibbling on dog food at about 4 weeks. When you see this, start mixing a little dry food with milk replacer or water with a little dry milk and smushing it into a mash with a fork. By the age of 6 - 8 weeks, they should be on regular dog food.

8 weeks is the ideal age for them, 6 weeks is the earliest you should wean them, but if your able to you should wait until 8.
