If you say direct experience of God...I also want to know what religion you are, and what religion your parents are.

There is no mterial proof of God, the Bible, or anything else. If there was material proof, it wouldn't be faith, it would be fact. And if it were fact there wouldn't be so many different faiths.

Id say the biggest reason to have faith in God is so you dont have to die in your sins and burn in hell.

I do believe that having a relationship involves a personal experience with God through prayer, church, the Bible, and miracles. And yes there is loads of evidence for God all around you, but you have to be able to see it. Im Christian and so are my parents sorta.

Direct experience. I don't belong to a particular religion/church, but I see the truth in the ones I am aware of. The closest I can come to naming my 'religion' is, the religion of the Speakers. My parents were non-practicing Catholics. They rarely spoke of spiritual/religious matters.

I was raised in the RCC but am presently a member of no organization. Neither of my parents were practicing catholics. My relationship with God is one of gratitude and service to my heavenly Father/creator. Ask me who I am and I will say "a child of the king of kings".
