Huge stuff, great wealth.
Grand paintings. One of the only surviving codexes in existence.
( original manuscripts )
A treasure trove.
It won't discredit the Bible, it will discredit the catholic church.

What makes you think that he cares about the Bible.
The Catholic church banned the reading of the Bible.

Actually, the boiler rooms and electrical boards are in the basement.

Are you maybe asking about the Vatican Archives? They are most definitely NOT in any basement, but in specially constructed chambers with all the latest technology to protect fragile, centuries old documents.

The throne of SATAN, who actually controls the Catholic church. Maybe also a giant laser beam to destroy enemies of SATAN, or a big stone altar where they sacrifice all those people they kidnap. Or maybe the second coming of Jesus, tied up and gagged. Nothing is beyond the fearsome power of CATHOLICISM!

Perhaps that's where they keep the baby clothes and toys Jesus used as a toddler, so they can be used as hand-me-downs in case Jesus returns the same way he came the first time?
