I don't know if you are into this sort of thing, but my wife and my first date was at like a minature golf place, it was fun, we were able to talk and get to know eachother, and there were even go karts so that was fun too. It was relatively cheap and it is a lot better going to a movie, sitting there, not talking, and then probably not being any closer as if you never went on a date.

i dont know your maturity level, but my sister in college did this and she loved it, you get big butcher paper and tape it on the walls and finger paint all over the walls and if you are good enough friends with the guy, then you might "accidentally" get some paint on them...and its a good clean not sexual date...the way dates are supposed to be!

buffalo wild wings has a nice atmosphere for a first date! id stick with boneless wings though so you dont get messy- you can eat them with a fork!
joes crab shack is also great!
or you could see the new Reno911 movie! reno is hilarious =]

I don't know if you have any snow where you live, but you could go outside and make a snow man or even go ice skating
