According to christians, innocent good-hearted people who never hurt a soul, whose only crime was not accepting their belief-system, while former pedophiles, rapists, and murderers dance on streets of gold in heaven with their god. Comforting thought, isn't it?

You heard partially. There must be a basis upon which to extend forgiveness in order for God to forgive. It is not a matter of saying, "Gee, God, I'm sorry" and then God pats us on the head and says, "It's alright, sweetie. I know you didn't mean it."

The scriptures hold out forgiveness for sin, but it also holds out the criteria for gaining forgiveness. The first is we must recognize what constitutes sin. Then we must repent. But how can one repent if one does not have the knowledge to know that it was sin in the first place? See, already, two criteria have to be met. One must have accurate knowledge and one must repent. But forgiveness is not automatic.

Thus, Satan can never be forgiven. There is no basis for forgiving his sins. Neither is there any basis for forgiving the sins of Adam and Eve.

Moreover, every person who dies goes to hell. Hell is the abode of the dead. Nothing more. Who goes to hell? Everybody who dies goes to hell. Eventually, hell will be emptied and the people therein resurrected. See Revelation 20:13 which plainly states that hell gives up those DEAD. Those folks get a resurrection. What they do after their resurrection is quite another matter.

As for heaven, the hope for obedient mankind is not everlasting life in heaven or everlasting life in torment. The prospect held out for obedient mankind is everlasting life. Period. Thus we read at Romans 6:23 that the wages sin pays is DEATH but the gift God gives is everlasting LIFE. This does not say sin pays the wages of torment and God grants the gift of heaven, does it? No.

The contrast here drawn is between life and death, not life in hell and life in heaven.

Romans Chapter 10 explains about eternal life.

Religion is a set of rules and regulations, Christianity is believing the Word of God and living by faith.

We are human and "NO ONE" is able to go a day without sinning. But, if you truly believe that Jesus was born by a virgin, crucified on the Cross, and rose on the third day, and you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, you will n ot want to willfully sin and when you do, repent (don't do it anymore), as God to forgive you and if you have offended someone, ask them to forgive you also.

So, the answer to your question is: only God Knows!

You'll get different answers from different religions, but a Christian perspective is simply this: God knows your heart. If you knowingly commit sins repeatedly and have no desire to change as a person, then you are not following God's commandments and in danger of going to hell. However, if you are following God's commandments (loving God, loving your neighbor) though you still sin, God forgives you because He knows your heart and that you're doing your best to seek His ways.

Granted, that's a very simplistic answer, but I can tell you with certainly that no one fools God. He sees into the depths of your heart and knows whether it yearns for Him.

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's

Yes, you can commit your sin and stop doing it again because sin makes God sad. If you turn back from your sin then God will forgive you because He loves you so much. Then who`ll go to hell? I think those are people who don`t respect God. Try to find community in living church, it will build your faith. Good luck

If only those who never sinned would go to heaven, then nobody would go to heaven. "He who says he is without sin is a liar" 1 John 1: 8 and 10.

Christianity tells us we must avoid sin to get to heaven. If we sin, we cannot count on being saved. We can be forgiven, but this is not a licence to sin.

if you commit sin you will be forgiven after you go thru penence. you dont automatically get forgiven, if the sin is really bad you end up in purgotory and then you have to rely on the people alive in the world to pray for you so in reality it is not that easy and if you dont repent then you do not get forgiven of your sins.

It is not quite as simple as you stated. Remember that as well as being a loving and merciful God; He is also a just God. In short you do the crime you have to be ready to do the time. Salvation is not a free pass for destruction/sinning.
