It seems that what is allowed changes all the time. To be sure what the regulations are, go to the airline's web site. There is a place to click on that will give you the up to date info.

Ask the airline concerned. There is some variation in items that can be carried on aircraft and don't assume that if you fly on one plane and back by the same plane that the items you are allowed to take on board might be different.

Your best bet is to call the airline direct or visit their website. Nothing sucks more than going through security and finding out you have to leave something behind. Plan ahead so you don't get surprised. Also, leave behind things you can pick up inexpensively at your destination.
