I finally saw a doctor! She told me to buy cetophil (available at any drug store) and gave me two prescriptions one a pill and the other a gel (erthromycin and bp). My skin has never been clearer. I stopped the pill after 6 weeks and with just the gel and cetophil after 1 month still clear. I don't feel i had acne but i always had something on my face.

My Acne was all over my face, and some on my back and chest, it hurt every day and was impossible to conceal. I tried Tetracycline and Erythromiacin (sp?) Neither worked. In the end my acne was cured by Acutain. I took it for 3 months and was completely clear. stopped taking it and it came back, but only minorly, I got back on the medication for another 3 months and have never had a problem since. I have been acne free for about 15 years. I have very fair, oily skin. My hair feels just nasty in the morning. I cannot go one day without a shower.

Hope that helps.

Clean and Clear Persa Gel 10 works well. You can get it at Wal mart or the local pharmacy. Personally I get it at the dollar store for about 4.50.
I use it once a week and it holds me off. It can cause dry skin but just use lotion or olive oil. My acne is not to bad but then again I have been using it for a couple of years now. But before it was pretty bad.
By the way. When you are looking for it in the store it is in a little see through dark blue box. Hope that helps.

I regularly wash my face. I have rather dry skin with mild acne problems on my forehead.

There's some tips I followed online and they worked. I include the link to ten tips for acne in my listed source.

Some of the tips are common sense, but they do work.

I use the Neutorgena (sp?) Rapid Clear products along with Pond's Dry Skin Cream. This clears my skin up and keeps it soft. Every night I use Pond's generously, but in the morning I use only a little bit. My skin is everything. It goes from dry to oily and everything in between. I didn't have a lot of acne, but it it was enough to make me uncomfortable. Now, my skin is perfectly clear!

I hope this helps you.

I have used proactive, and that worked wonders for me. I had moderatley bad acne, with light skin. Also, for a quick fix, toothpaste drys out pimples fast.
