Honey-with those locations, I don't know how you COULDN'T get a cheap flight. I'm having a brain fart right now, but I know for a fact there is an airline that runs from Chicago, and Atlanta is the biggest hub with who knows how many airlines running from there (when I say run, I mean based out of). I use orbitz, but if you have found a good deal on there, go to the website of the airline the deal is on, and check there. It always shaves $20-$50 off of the orbitz price for me, I just let orbitz do the dirty work. Check on flights to multiple locations, and check them all separately. You never know what deals may be going on.

From Atlanto to Ft. Myers, you can go on Airtrain or Delta.

From Ft. Myers Airport to Chicago, there are nonstop flights to Midway on AirTran and Southwest Airlines; to O'Hare on American, United, USA3000, and Spirit Airlines.

Without knowing your travel dates, it's impossible to give you an accurate price. But, among these, Spirit, USA3000, and AirTran look cheapest for midweek flights, late March.

Try farechase.yahoo.com - it will search a number of airlines and consolidator sites (like cheaptickets and orbitz) to help you find the cheapest prices, and then send you directly to the airline website to purchase the ticket.

Have you tried Priceline? Ive sworn off these "travel in general" sites and prefer to deal directly with the airline/hotel/car rental agency, however when I hear "really cheap flight" , Priceline comes to mind.
